She is a student, a friend, a daughter, a caregiver, a hand for her single mother… a person.

Strength can mean walking 3 hours alone to and from school every day even when society tells you it’s not important to go.

Stand proud. Stand together.

Men anpil chay pa lou.

This list can’t be complete without highlighting Haiti: Hands On Cofounder, Tas Zarroug. Founded an NGO at age 13 to give back to her native Haiti, remarkably independent and a huge heart – she is inspiring in all she does.
